The story of Zelophehad's daughters in Numbers 27:1-11 represents a pivotal moment in the biblical narrative where women's voices drive change in the patriarchal legal system of ancient Israel. In a cultural context where inheritance rights were reserved only for men, the courage of these five women to make demands to Moses and God became a significant form of social and spiritual protest. This study aims to examine the narrative narratively and theologically, and assess its implications for understanding justice and women's participation in the context of faith. The method used is a narrative criticism and contextual theology approach, which enables analysis of the story structure, character roles, and relational dynamics between the transformational law and its theological impact. The results show that the actions of the sons of Zelophehad not only succeeded in changing the law of inheritance but also demonstrated that divine law is open to ethical correction from the marginalized. The conclusion of this study confirms that women, through courage and faith, play an essential role as reformers in the History of God's people.
